Technamin focus on the power of in-person networking during the SBC Summit Barcelona event

(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive).- At the SBC Summit Barcelona event SoloAzar gathered to interview Matt Sahakian, CSO (Chief Sales Officer) in Technamin. Sahakian, told us that their attendance at this edition was aimed at showcasing the company´s offerings and networking with industry professionals. He highlighted the interest of the company in the Spanish and Latam market as an aim to adapt the platform to this market.
Have you presented any novelties at SBC Barcelona?
We exhibited Technamin's platform in its entirety this year. However, we are still in the process of revamping and updating all of our products and solutions, the end result of which we will showcase in future expos and events. Our attendance at the SBC Barcelona event was aimed at showcasing our company's offerings and networking with industry professionals. This allowed us to reconfirm with the industry that Technamin is a major force to be reckoned with and that we have a firm basis for moving forward, even though not much time has passed since our inception. For now, we are playing our cards close to our chests.

Why was it important to participate in SBC Summit Barcelona?
SBC Summit Barcelona is inarguably one of the most anticipated events in our industry. It is a hub where professionals and enthusiasts connect, with thousands of delegates and operators attending from all around the world. Having a presence at such a prestigious event is important for us as not only does it give us the chance to introduce our company and our products, but also to exchange thoughts with others who share the same passion with us. It doubles as a learning experience as well.
How do you see the Spanish market?
The Spanish market is surely one of the most promising and dynamic markets when it comes to our industry. And it’s a market that we are very interested in. In many ways, it acts as a door to the European market in many ways and at the same time, an interesting bridge to the LatAm market. It is very strategic in that sense. Our aim is to adapt Technamin’s platform to this market and cater to the demands of customers there. Aside from innovation, we also have a cultural approach to our industry and believe that our products and solutions can be used to bridge gaps between different marketplaces and regions.
What are your plans for the markets where you already operate? What is your target market in the near future?
We plan on continuing our exposure while carefully monitoring industry trends. Our team is determined to further understand the needs of the markets we operate in and cater to do those needs by adding more features and functionalities to our products. As always, the key focus in Technamin is innovation, and we are on the lookout for the latest technologies which we can utilise. Our plans for the future involve reaping the benefits of events such as SBC Summits, as they provide a networking area where we can create not just relationships, but communities that grow together. We are aiming to target more English and Spanish-speaking markets as we go.
After this edition ended, What conclusion do you reach in terms of adapting your products to the needs of your customers?
Like I mentioned, events like SBC provide the perfect groundwork for networking. But what I feel makes them so important is that we can understand the needs of the market directly from the industry, the customers themselves, and even from competitors! This is probably the most accurate way of obtaining reliable information directly from the source. Don’t get me wrong, industry reports are always valuable databases for us. But nothing beats the power of in-person networking.
Which are the next events you are going to participate during the rest of the year?
It has been quite an eventful year for Technamin, pun intended! This is why we are considering taking things a bit slower in terms of attending further events this year. Our main focus now is on shaping our products and solutions to cater not only to the needs of customers, but also the industry’s needs. It is, after all, about quality, and quantity.
